Burn

I saw the world on fire,

And stopped to watch it burn,

Fire, fire everywhere,

And nowhere left to turn,

The exits, well they all were blocked,

My gut began to churn,

Fire, fire everywhere,

What lesson should I learn?

I swept up all the ashes,

And put them in an urn,

Fire, fire everywhere,

But what else did I earn?

I walked amongst the wreckage,

An answer there to learn,

Fire, fire everywhere,

My heart began to yearn,

I found a book of matches,

And set them all to burn,

Fire, fire everywhere,

But now it is my turn.
